About VoltGear Review
VoltGear Review is an independent consumer electronics publication founded in 2024 by a team of hardware enthusiasts, engineers, and long-form writers. We started this project because we were frustrated with review websites that felt like catalogues with star ratings, not honest evaluations.
Our Mission
We test products the same way you use them — in real homes, real offices, and real workflows. Every review goes through hands-on evaluation, side-by-side comparison, and a final editorial review before publication. We do not accept sponsored placement, paid rankings, or manufacturer-controlled review units with preconditions.
Editorial Independence
Our revenue comes from display advertising, not affiliate commissions or sponsored content. That means our recommendations are never influenced by which product pays the highest referral fee. When we link to retailers, it is for reader convenience only. We disclose any potential conflicts of interest on a per-article basis in our affiliate disclosure.
How We Test
- Products are tested for at least one full week in real-world conditions.
- Every review category uses a standardized scoring rubric updated annually.
- Multiple reviewers evaluate subjective criteria to reduce individual bias.
- We publish corrections openly when errors are identified.
